Sangiovese di Romagna
Superiore DOC - Riserva
Wine made from thinned hand-picked grapes of Sangiovese “Grosso” with a 5-6 t/ha yield.
It ferments between 22 an 26 °C at controlled temperatures; the maceration can reach 30 days. The wine has a lengthy aging in French oak barrels.
Garnet in colour, the nose opens with lasting ripe blackberry and cherry aromas in a pleasant spicy back-bone. It comes on the palate with a full-bodied structure, dry yet smooth, and a fine tannic strength.
Wine well balanced and persistent, best enjoyed with grilled / roast meat and game.
